1. Introduction
Welcome to ComeDooze, a digital platform operated by ComeDooze (Pty) Ltd, based in Mthatha, South Africa.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, “the Platform”).
By accessing or using ComeDooze, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Services
ComeDooze provides a digital marketplace and convenience platform that enables users to:
Book intercity rides and transport services,
Send parcels or goods via registered couriers, and
Access a local services marketplace, where small businesses and service providers list and offer their services (e.g., decor, maintenance, rentals, etc.).
ComeDooze acts as a facilitator between users and service providers. We do not own or operate vehicles, nor do we directly employ service providers.
3. Registration and User Accounts
To use certain features, users must create an account by providing accurate personal details.
You agree to:
Provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information,
Keep your login credentials secure, and
Take full responsibility for all activity under your account.
ComeDooze reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of misuse or fraudulent activity.
4. Payments and Fees
Payments for services on the Platform are processed securely through PayFast.
By using PayFast, you agree to their User Agreement and Privacy Policy available on www.payfast.co.za.
ComeDooze charges a service or commission fee on successful transactions.
All payments must be made in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices are determined by individual service providers and may vary.
Refunds or cancellations are subject to each provider’s policy.
ComeDooze may, at its discretion, assist in resolving disputes but is not liable for any losses resulting from cancelled or incomplete services.
5. Vendor and Service Provider Responsibilities
Vendors and service providers who list on the Platform must:
Ensure all descriptions, pricing, and availability are accurate,
Deliver services or products as advertised,
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and
Maintain professional conduct with users at all times.
ComeDooze reserves the right to remove or suspend any vendor found in violation of these conditions.
6. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
Misuse the Platform or engage in fraudulent activity,
Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content,
Violate the rights of others, or
Interfere with Platform operations.
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or legal action.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
ComeDooze provides the Platform “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the services.
ComeDooze is not responsible for delays, damages, losses, or disputes arising from services rendered by third-party providers.
While we strive to verify providers, all transactions are conducted at the user’s own risk.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Each service provider sets their own cancellation and refund policy. Users should review these before booking or purchasing.
ComeDooze may intervene in good faith to mediate disputes, but final decisions rest with the provider unless otherwise stated.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Personal information collected through the Platform is handled in accordance with the ComeDooze Privacy Policy, which complies with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and lawful processing of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and digital assets on the Platform are the property of ComeDooze (Pty) Ltd or licensed third parties.
You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Platform without written consent.
11. Modifications to These Terms
ComeDooze may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
